9/11 memories hit close to home

by Brittany Bradford, opinion editor

Recently, I had the opportunity to talk with a friend of a friend who is from and still lives in Pennsylvania.

I asked him a million questions about different aspects of visiting Texas and what things are different up there.  I’m not much of a traveler, so any time I meet someone from outside my little Lone Star State comfort zone, I always want to know what people out there think of Texas before and after they visit.

One conversation becomes my revelation

by Justin Lopez, staff writer

During the past two years, I have managed to keep two jobs at the same time, I have gone with out a job at other times, and got myself back in to school.

Throughout all of this, I have come to terms that there are a few good men out there who have been where I am right now and have suffered just as bad, and some even worse.

Every choice proves critical to my life

Mixed feelings prove to be daily struggle

by Justin Lopez, staff writer

For the past few weeks, I have had many conversations about an issue that is very important to me.

There are times throughout the day that I feel like just going to sleep and never wanting to wake up ever again.

Obama's flag falter does not hurt campaign

by Jason Hartline, staff writer

Once found, this insight should be questioned and analyzed to be made into a moral, or value. If anything, it should be analyzed so a more adequate opinion can be formed.

With that said, some things have been brought to my attention about Senator Barack Obama that I just couldn’t agree with.

Women reflect loving side of God

by Isa Torres, staff writer

It doesn’t take a lot for me to realize how amazing my life is when I am following God.

There are a lot of things I am thankful for. If God had not provided them, I would probably be somewhere else.

I love the women God has given me. Their gentleness, beauty and spirit encourage and inspire me.
