Ride-along with police surprising experience

by Thomas Mooney, staff writer

Being picked up by the police on a Friday evening usually is a bad sign for how the rest of your night is going to be.

Not many can say they have sat in the back of a police car and got out whenever they pleased.

Small decisions can have big impact

by Lyndsey Wolf, staff writer

Daily decisions you make can affect your life in so many different ways.

The decisions you make are going to give you a positive or negative outcome every day. People don’t think about the long run when they make decisions. They just think about how the decisions they make are going to be when they do it at the time. That’s with anything. People don’t think before they do things.

Success comes from self-discovery

by Jennifer Moore, editorial assistant

For the longest time, death has been my biggest fear.

It is not because I wonder where I am going. I just think of everything I will leave behind. Heaven is going to be so much better than the world I live in now. I do love my life though.

Experience with police leaves lasting memories

by Daniel Clayton, opinion editor

Riding in a police car is an experience that I don’t want to forget.

Pursuing education important for success

by Vanessa Garcia, editorial assistant

Nothing comes free in life, but there are so many people who see it that way.

I have a friend who is a single mom who talks about how she wants this cool- looking car with tinted windows, fancy wheel rims and a sound system in it.
