This is your one stop for everything you need to know about the Tech Prep Podcasting Academy!

Tech Prep is excited to introduce the Podcasting Academy for regional high school teachers. This Academy will help introduce the use of Podcasts in the classroom, allow team members to produce podcasts, introduce podcasting to classes and have students produce podcasts. Technology is an integral part of our world, Podcasting is one aspect that will engage your students. Here are a few ideas to include in your application.

Podcast of lectures and discussions so students that are absent can go online and get the missing notes, and also use it to go back over their notes with the lecture.

Students will produce a podcast as a project instead of a research paper.

Online TAKS review for students.

Demonstrate skills in business classroom that will be shared with parents.

Teacher Welcome posted on web page at beginning of school year.

Students create a news program about regions of study-could include specifics such as weather, upcoming events, culture, tourist hot spots, etc.

Podcasts on favorite college/career.

Use podcasts as a recruitment tool during course fair/scheduling.

Podcasts of student presentations.
