Tech Prep Manual This is the complete overview that includes all of the information about starting a Tech Prep program, maintaining information, and all of the services that are available to your school through Tech Prep. Make a copy for your district PEIMS coordinator and refer them to Tech Prep staff if they have further questions. PEIMS Summary 2007-2008: By Grade This document provides a summary of PEIMS report for CTE for the 2007-2008 year, by grade level. PEIMS One Page Flyer This is a one-page flyer that provides a summary of the PEIMS coding for CTE: 2007-2008. Please refer to this flyer to determine if your school is eligible to write for Tech Prep grants for the 2008-09 school year.


ATC Crosswalk 2008-2009 This document is an updated list of all of the courses and codes that are currently included in the Advanced Technical Credit (ATC) program. High School courses should not include these PEIMS codes unless the teacher has received the appropriate training and has a certificate from the state on file with their school district.


Competencies & Six Year Plans Each section contains course competencies for programs corresponding to the six-year plans. Teachers should use their six-year plans to find the corresponding SPC course competencies and/or syllabi to use as a guide for their Tech Prep course. Teachers should find all of the SPC program areas that include articulated courses that correspond to the ones they teach. They should print, read and share with their students. Each six-year plan shows the degree or certificate program that accepts Tech Prep credit in that area.
