The TEAS (Nursing Entrance Exam) is the first step to being admitted to the Associate Degree of Nursing Program that is offered at the Levelland Campus. The program starts twice a year in August and January.

Associate Degree Nursing Testing Information

The computer test consists of:

Reading - 40 questions / 50 minutes

Math – 45 questions / 56 minutes

Science – 30 questions / 38 minutes

Retest date available for Reading and Math sections only

Calculators are NOT permitted on this test.

In order to fill out an application for the ADN program, you must make an 80% on the Reading section on this test .

 

You must present a photo ID (1) Driver's License, Student ID, Employee Badge or Passport, (2) A document with your Social Security Number on it (Social Security Card) to test.  See Prohibited Materials Policy

If you do not make an 80%, please register for a retest in the testing office.

You must make an 85% on the MATH section in order to be exempt from taking the Nursing MATH course.

Students who are eligible to pick up an application package must have the following official documents to the Nursing Department no later that the published deadline.  These documents include:

·         OFFICIAL HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS - SEALED

·         For Official GED scores, contact the State of Texas or the place where you tested.  If you were home schooled, you must provide a Notarized copy of your high school scores.

·         OFFICIAL COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS - Including SPC- SEALED

The Nursing Department on the Levelland Campus is located in the Technical Arts Bldg. Room 110
