All students who are trying to apply for
the Reese Licensed Vocational Nursing Program MUST take ACCUPLACER as the entrance exam.

Students CANNOT take THEA, ASSET or COMPASS to apply for the Vocational Nursing Program.

The deadline to apply for Spring 2007 Vocational
Nursing Program is October 31, 2006.

Students may retest on ACCUPLACER every 2 weeks.

Students who have taken and passed the TEAS test previously MUST take and pass the ACCUPLACER exam.

Students may take the ACCUPLACER anywhere it is offered, but they must make sure that they take these sections of the exam: Reading Comprehension, Elementary Algebra, Sentence Skills and the Essay.

Cut off scores on ACCUPLACER in order to apply for the VOCATIONAL NURSING PROGRAM are:

(Students who have taken the Elementary Algebra section of the Accuplacer,
but have not passed, are eligible to take the Arithmetic section
of Accuplacer on the retest. Students are only eligible to
take the Arithmetic section of Accuplacer if they are retesting
on the math section of the Accuplacer for the LVN Program at the
Reese Center). |

The department will be accepting students into the program on a
"first come, first served" basis.
The Reese LVN Program will begin accepting completed
applications on August 31, 2006 and the deadline will be on October
31, 2006
