Basic Peace Officer Examination
What is the Basic Peace Officer Exam?
A certification exam for peace officers in the state of Texas. The exam is a computer-based test.
Endorsement of Eligible:
Must bring a valid endorsement which indicates date of issue, the state that the examinee has met the current minimum training standards appropriate to license sought; must be a completed original document bearing all required signatures and on current commission format (This will be obtained through the Law Enforcement Department with Larry Nichols).

The examination fee is $30.Information regarding the Basic Peace Officer Exam:
Test is 250 questions and you have 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
Results are printed after the exam.
