PLANNING FOR 2013 SCHOLARSHIP GALA NOW UNDERWAY
LEVELLAND – The Board of Regents of South Plains College join the Directors of the South Plains College Foundation to announce the date of its annual Scholarship Gala. City Bank Texas has joined the SPC Foundation in helping support the event as gala host. Great Western Dining is this year’s event underwriting sponsor.
The 15th annual event is scheduled for Feb. 23 (Saturday) on the campus of South Plains College. Doors open to guests at 6 p.m. in the Physical Education Complex. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
The Scholarship Gala will feature a silent auction, raffles, live auction, a five-course meal and live entertainment.
Promoted as “Picture the Opportunities,” various levels of sponsorship and participation are available to interested businesses and individuals.
Underwriting level sponsorship is $5,000. Patrons will receive two tables for 10 with premium seating in addition to listing on the event invitation, recognition in pre-Gala promotions and advertising, recognition in the Gala program, recognition on the Event Big Screen, introduction during the Gala and recognition in the post-Gala sponsorship advertisement. Underwriting sponsorships must be received by January 15 to be listed on the invitation.
Diamond level sponsorship is $2,000. Guests will receive one table for 10 with preferred seating in addition to recognition in pre-Gala promotions and advertising, recognition in the Gala program, recognition on the Event Big Screen, introduction during the Gala and recognition in the post-Gala sponsorship advertisement.
Platinum level sponsorship is $1,000. Patrons will receive one table for 10 as well as recognition in pre-Gala promotions and advertising, recognition in the Gala program, recognition on the Event Big Screen and recognition in the post-Gala sponsorship advertisement.
Gold level sponsorship is $500. Guests will receive half of a table for 10 as well as recognition in the Gala program and recognition in the post-Gala sponsorship advertisement.
Individual benefactor tickets are $100 per person and guests will receive recognition in the post-Gala sponsorship advertisement.

Opportunities to donate directly to scholarship funds will be provided during the event. All proceeds go directly to student scholarships at SPC.
