SPC Levelland to offer CNA class Nov. 26

LEVELLAND – South Plains College is accepting registration for an upcoming Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) course that runs from Nov. 26 through Dec. 14.  

The three-week course will meet in the Technical Arts Building, Room 109. Classroom instruction is set for 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays. Clinicals will be arranged.

The CNA course fee is $500 which covers the cost of tuition ($350), textbook ($57) and state testing fee ($93). In addition to these costs, there will be a fee for CPR Certification through one of the SPC instructors.

Immunizations and enrollment information includes Hepatitis B Series, 2 MMRs, Tetanus not older than eight years and a current negative TB test not older than six months prior to the first day of class. Students must have valid state issued photo identification and social security card prior to enrollment. A maximum of eight participants will be accepted.
