SPC seeks nominations for Distinguished Alumni Awards
LEVELLAND – Nominations for the South Plains College Distinguished Alumni Awards are now being accepted. Recipients of this award will be recognized at the annual Employee Recognition Banquet on May 9 and at the 55th Commencement Ceremony on May 10, 2013.
The recognition program for outstanding former students was established in 1987. Since then, the college has presented the awards to 25 outstanding former students.
The deadline for nominees is March 1, 2013.

The nominee must be a former student for which SPC was a legitimate part of their educational career and the nominee must have worked in his chosen career field for at least 10 years or has made a significant contribution or achievement in his career if less than 10 years.
Nomination forms are available online under the Information for Alumni and Friends tab at www.southplainscollege.edu. Questions may be directed to any of the committee members.
