LEVELLAND – South Plains College’s Division of Continuing and Distance Education will offer a new course in Metalsmithing – Enameling. The cost is $120 plus $27 for supplies.

The class will meet from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays starting Feb. 2, Feb. 9, Feb. 16, Feb. 23 and March 2 in the Fine Arts building Room 127. Enrollment is limited to 12 students.

In this class, students will learn sifting techniques, stenciling techniques and Champlevé techniques. Each student will make sample pieces and create pieces of their own design.
