SPC Muleshoe Center announces fall schedule
MULESHOE – South Plains College Muleshoe Center announces its course offerings for fall 2012 semester. The center is located at 621 W. Second St. All classes will be presented through the interactive television system (ITV).
MATH 1314 – College Algebra will be available from 8 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (MWF). The class will be taught by Kathy Holster, assistant professor of Mathematics.
ENGL 1301 – Composition I will be available from 9 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. on MWF; from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. on MWF; or from 6 to 8:50 p.m. on Thursdays (T). The classes will be taught Ashleigh Brewer, instructor in English.
ENGL 2332 – World Literature I will be available from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays (TR). The class will be taught by Dr. Pat Cearley, professor of English.
HIST 1301 – History of US to 1876 will be available from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on MWF; or Mondays from 6 to 8:50 p.m. The classes will be taught by Harold Anderson, assistant professor of History.
HIST 1301 – History of the US to 1876 will be available from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. on TR. The class will be taught by Angela Roberts, instructor in History.
MATH 1314 – College Algebra will be available from 8 to 9:15 a.m. on TR. The class will be taught by Larry Moffett, assistant professor of Mathematics.
MATH 1314 – College Algebra will be available from 6 to 8:50 p.m. on Thursdays. The class will be taught by Dr. Jay Driver, professor of Mathematics.
GOVT 2301– American Government, Org. will be available from 6 to 8:50 p.m. on Wednesdays. The class will be taught by Daniel Moore, adjunct instructor.
VNSG 1420 – Anatomy & Physiology for Allied Health will be available from 6 to 8:50 p.m. on TR. The class will be taught by Sue Matthews, instructor in Vocational Nursing.
SPC Muleshoe Center also will offer the following Continuing Education Courses:
Basic Phlebotomy will be offered from Sept. 10 through Oct. 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. on MW. The class will meet for 48 hours. Tuition is $400 with a new textbook, Fourth Edition.
Pharmacy Tech Prep Class will be offered. The date will be announced. The 48-hour course will cost $336.
Certified Nurse Aide class will be offered. The date will be announced. The 84-hour course will cost $500. The textbook information also will be provided.
