SPC Symphonic Band Concert is set for Nov. 15

LEVELLAND – South Plains College’s Symphonic Band Concert is slated for 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 15 (Thursday) in the Jones Theatre for the Performing Arts.

There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

The program will include “March: The Alamo” by K.L. King; “Joy Revisited” by Frank Ticheli; “The Red Balloon” by Anne McGinty; “Fantasy on American Sailing Songs” by Clare Grundman; “Rhosymedre” by Ralph Vaughan-Williams; “A Movement for Rosa” by Mark Camphouse; and “March: Opus 99” by Sergei Prokofiev.

Conductors are Dr. Gary Hudson, Professor of Music, and Lynda Reid, Professor of Music.
