Recent Happenings

February Academy Students participated in an activity to identify and share their goals and dreams.  Then they explored the ocean depths at the Omnimax theatre and got their hands on science at the Science Spectrum Museum.

Make-up work is your responsibility to ask for and due 2 weeks after the missed event.

PARENT INFORMATION

Question:  How does Upward Bound help my child choose a college/university?

Answer:  One way we do this is to take the students to visit various colleges/ universities during our end of summer trip (all students) and in the Fall & Spring (Juniors & Seniors).

Should your child attend a trip to a college/ university the child is not interested in?  Yes, the exposure to different colleges/universities will help the student get a sense of the variety of options available.

  Can you guess who the students are in these pictures? Be the first to call the UB office with the correct answer & win a prize!  (Hint:  There are 2 people per picture.)
