Scholarships
at South Plains College
The purpose
of scholarships is to attract and retain outstanding students to South
Plains College and to expand opportunities for students to pursue higher
education. The scholarship programs which are administered by the South
Plains College Foundation are generally awarded on the basis of academic
achievement, character, and leadership qualities.
Funds for
scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the friends of
South Plains College, including individuals, corporations, foundations,
clubs and organizations.
New students
who plan to enroll at South Plains College and current students at SPC
are encouraged to apply for scholarships awarded by the South Plains College
Foundation.
Scholarship
programs are classified in one of four categories:
- College-Wide
Scholars Awards and Scholarships which are open to all qualified students;
- Program
Specific Scholarships which are open only to students enrolled in specific
major fields of study;
- Activity
