Tuition and fees for workforce development short courses are set by the Board of Regents of the college in accordance with the provisions of Texas Statutes. Tuition and fee rates are subject to change without notice by action of either the Texas State Legislature or the South Plains College Board of Regents.

The tuition and fees for non-computer courses is $6.25 per contact hour and $9.00 per contact hour for computer courses.

The tuition and fee rates described above prevail for most workforce development courses EXCEPT the following special courses:

*Students enrolling in Emergency Medical Services will be charged a liability insurance fee the first semester of enrollment each year; prorated at follows: $90 fall; $60 spring; $25 summer.
