Annual Investment Summary
In compliance with Texas Government Code, South Plains College prepares an Annual Investment Report in the format required by the State Auditor's Office. Oversight of college investments is the responsibility the Vice President for Business Affairs in accordance with the Investment Policies adopted by the South Plains College Board of Regents.
The Board of Regents of South Plains College has designated City Bank Trust, Inc., 5219 City Bank Parkway, Lubbock, Texas 79407 as investment advisor. All investment decisions are made jointly between the College Investment Officer and City Bank Trust in accordance with the Investment Policy of South Plains College.
South Plains College does not use soft dollar nor does the College participate in
directed brokerage, directed commissions, or commission recapture transactions.
The value of the College's investments as of August 31, 2017 was $23,761,877.82.
