Cash gifts and pledges are the most popular and readily useable form of donations because these gifts can be put to work immediately. There are a number of other options open to donors.
- Highly appreciated, marketable securities
- Corporate matching gifts
- Life income plans, such as charitable remainder unitrusts and gift annuities
- Charitable annuity trusts
- Gifts in kind, such as services, material and equipment
- Wills and bequests
- Real estate property
Gifts made to the SPC Foundation qualify as charitable contributions and are tax-deductible
to the maximum allowed by federal and state laws.
