CREDENTIALING

 Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the national respiratory credentialing board exams. There are two separate levels of credentialing which are taken through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC); the Certified Respiratory Technician exam (CRT) and the Registered Respiratory Therapist exam (RRT).

 

 

LICENSURE

 Licensure is achieved by submitting credentials and meeting application requirements for the state in which you are practicing respiratory care. In Texas, licensure application and information is submitted to Texas State Department of Health at http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/respiratory/rc_aonline.shtm.shtm
