SPC Cosmetology seeks students for summer enrollment

LEVELLAND – South Plains College Cosmetology has openings for Summer III for students seeking an education and career in the hairstyling industry. The course will begin May 14 and end Aug. 2.

Orientation will be conducted on April 13.

Interested students must complete the following steps to gain admission to the college. Students first must complete an application for admission. Then students must take the Cosmetology Entrance Examination which can be accessed from the SPC website. Upon completion of the test, students will come to the facility to fill out an application to the program followed by an interview with a member of the staff.

Throughout the program, students work in a full-service salon that is open to residents and visitors in the Levelland community. The students are supervised by South Plains College faculty members.

SPC Cosmetology is located in Gentry Square. Students will learn how to perform haircuts, hair color, high-lights, low-lights, perms, chemical relaxers, wet sets, curling-iron sets, manicures, pedicures and eye-brow waxing.
