SPC to host drug, alcohol awareness program on Friday

 

LEVELLAND – South Plains College’s Health and Wellness, in conjunction with Texas Tech University’s Center for Collegiate Recovery Communities, will host a Drug and Alcohol Awareness Series featuring Kendall Wibbing at 8:30 a.m. Friday (Feb. 21) in the Founders Room. 

Wibbing, member of the student organization Providing the Outside World with Empowerment and Resources at Texas Tech, will present “Where Students Flourish in the Miracle of Recovery.” 

There is no admission charge, and the public as well as members of the SPC students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
