South Plains College to host nurses pinning on Aug. 6

 

LEVELLAND – South Plains College Vocational Nursing Program will recognize its graduates during a pinning ceremony set for 6:30 p.m.. on Aug. 6 (Friday) in the Helen DeVitt Jones Theatre.

Hockley County graduates include Victoria C. Almager, Melissa Castillo, Barbara Flores, Taylor Justin McLendon and Ashley Myers, all of Levelland.

Cochran County graduate is Erica Avalos of Morton.

Hale County graduate is Sandi Aguilar of Hale Center.

Lamb County graduates are Marcia Lee Almanza, Amanda Marie Angel, Jessica Porras and Amy Trevino, all of Littlefield; and Castro County graduate Carmen Anai Medrano of Sudan.

Lubbock County graduates include Juvy Chew, Scarlett Davis, Blanca Garcia, Isabel (Linda) Lopez, Aimee Madrigales, Jai-len Alixandria Martin, David Lee Thomas, Jr., Kamryn Danielle Vasquez and Almaz Tsehay Wentling.

Mason County graduate is Maria Ramirez of Mason.

Terry County graduate is Melanie Ontiveros of Brownfield.

The Pinning Ceremony marks the completion of the vocational nurses training and the eligibility of the graduates to write the National Council Licensing Exam to become licensed vocational nurses.
