Space available for SPC quilting orientation class on Monday (Jan. 13)

 

LEVELLAND – Space is still available for participants interested in the spring 2020 quilting class at South Plains College. An orientation class is set for 5:30 p.m.. on Monday (Jan. 13) in Room 121 of the Technical Arts building. 

Vickey Vest will be the instructor. 

There will be two different quilting classes offered this semester. The Monday weekly class will start at 5:30 p.m.., and will focus on a butterfly log cabin quilt. The Tuesday weekly class will focus on color block solid quilts. Both classes will require participants to purchase kits. Each class costs $55. 

Also, SPC will offer a day class. Class will be offered on Tuesday afternoons at 2:30 p.m.. The class will prepare the same kit as the Tuesday evening class, Color Block Solid Quilt kit. The class will meet from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.. 

The start dates will be announced.
