South Plains College hosted on-site visit for SACSCOC committee
LEVELLAND – South Plains College recently hosted an on-site visit for members of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on College, the reaccreditation branch.
The committee reported that they had absolutely no recommendations for the College related to the Principles of Accreditation or the College’s Quality Enhancement Plan. This is indicative of the stellar educational and operational functions of the college.
According to South Plains College President Dr. Robin Satterwhite, “This is the culmination of several years of work and is the reflection of the incredible things that our faculty and staff do every single day to improve the lives of our students.”
“I am extremely proud of our college, our employees and our students,” he said. “The entire SPC team should be commended for this outstanding accomplishment! This day – and every day – is a great day to be an SPC Texan!”
The reaccreditation process is conducted every 10 years.
