SPC to host virtual Senior Sneak on Feb. 19 for high school students

LEVELLAND – South Plains College will host a virtual Senior Sneak program for area high school seniors at 10 a.m. on Feb. 19 (Friday). The hour-long program will contain many of the traditions of the on-campus event including a welcome video from the president, a video tour and a variety of video clips to guide students through the registration process.

According to Chase Dunn, coordinator of new student programs at SPC, “In these unprecedented times, our challenge is to provide area high school students with information about attending college, and particularly, college life at South Plains College.”

This year, Dunn and SPC recruiters contacted area high school counselors to help conduct the virtual event. Each school will deliver its own viewing via Zoom in either an auditorium, a classroom or a computer lab. The event will have an interactive portion which will allow students the opportunity to visit with SPC faculty members in their area of interest.
