South Plains College to host Student Awards Assembly on May 2  

 

LEVELLAND – South Plains College will honor more than 130 students during its annual Student Awards Assembly at 7 p.m.. on May 2 (Thursday) in the Texan Dome.

The public is welcome to attend.

The Student Awards Assembly will feature the winners of academic honors chosen by SPC faculty members. 

In addition to the awards, special recognition will be given to Miss Caprock, the Homecoming King and Queen, the Student Government Association Officers, Sophomore students with Highest Honor and Sophomore students with Honors.

The highlight of the evening will be the selection of the President's Student of the Year and the announcement of the Thomas and Vera Sue Spencer Award winners. 

Student Life will partner with Residence Hall Association to sell long-stem roses for $5. These roses came from Sugarbee's Floral, and they are a great way to congratulate the students.
