Students will demonstrate competencies on community members who come to the salon as clients.  Working with real customers in a salon setting is an extremely important part of your cosmetology education. Learning how to work under pressure, with different hair and skin types, and as a team are just a few of the skills students will acquire in the salon.

The Salon at South Plains College offers a wide variety of services at affordable prices, available to community members. All services rendered are performed under the supervision of a state-licensed cosmetologist.
