Winners of South Plains College's 2026 Scholarship Scramble

FLIGHT ONE – The Hutch’s Oilfield and Supply team won first place in Flight 1 of South Plains College’s 2026 Scholarship Scramble on June 15 at LakeRidge Country Club in Lubbock. The team consisted of Joseph Hutchinson, Bruce Marmolejo, Paul Sutton and Steve Tucker. The team representing City Bank finished in second place. The team included Ben Prowell, Jordan Samsel, Keaton Samsel and Marc Tucker. The Eagle Rubber and Supply team, comprised of Kevin Bracey, Saylem Maddox, Curran McCallister and Matt Waters, captured third place. Proceeds from the event will benefit student scholarships. FLIGHT TWO – The Voya Financial team won first place in Flight 2 of South Plains College’s 2026 Scholarship Scramble on June 15 at LakeRidge Country Club in Lubbock. The team included Keith Leonard, Matt Miles, Craig Neil and Stan Scarborough. The team representing AG Texas finished in second place. The team was made up of Dustan Dukatnik, Adam Hart, Doug Hoelscher and Rodney Keeton. The Hockley County Credit Union team, comprised of Royce Blackshear, Karl Race, Dr. Robin Satterwhite and Joe Tubb, captured third place. Proceeds from the event will benefit student scholarships.
