Joe, Aggie Birdwell trust endows SPC scholarship

LEVELLAND – The committee for the Joe and Aggie Birdwell Endowment Trust authorized Prosperity Bank as trustee to make a $10,000 distribution to the South Plains College Foundation for the creation of the Joe and Aggie Birdwell Scholarship Endowment.

The scholarship will support full-time, returning SPC sophomore students.

“The Birdwell legacy will live on through this new scholarship endowment and support SPC students for years to come," Samantha Goldie, director of SPC Development and Alumni Relations, said.
