SPC to raise scholarship funds during Designer Bag Bingo on Aug. 29

Join South Plains College for an unforgettable ladies' night out during the institution’s first Designer Bag Bingo on Aug. 29. Patrons are invited to the Wallace Theater in Levelland for a chance to win designer handbags during an evening of bingo and raise money for SPC student scholarships.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with bingo kicking off shortly afterward. All guest tickets include a boxed dinner, a gift bag with event-specific goodies and a bingo booklet with cards for each of the 10 rounds.

Additional sponsorship opportunities are available and include exclusive perks, such as drink tickets, access to the purse charm bar station and other event benefits. Along with the designer handbag prizes, attendees can participate in games including the evening's grand raffle prize: a Louis Vuitton handbag.

Individual tickets and sponsorships are available through Aug. 21 on the SPC Foundation Events webpage. Additional bingo booklets, raffle tickets, drink tickets and game opportunities will be available for purchase during the event.

"Levelland deserves more opportunities for women to get together and enjoy a fun night out, and we wanted to create an event that does just that while making a difference," Kirsten Chau, assistant director of SPC Development and Alumni Relations, said. "Whether you come for the designer handbags, the laughs or the time with friends, every ticket helps support scholarships for South Plains College students."

To enter the event and enjoy everything from the delicious food and signature cocktails to the bingo games, guests must be 21 years or older. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals and businesses who wish to support SPC scholarships but are unable to attend the event. After-five or business casual attire is encouraged.
