SPC, Texas Tech alumni associations to host tailgate on Sept. 13
LUBBOCK – The alumni associations of South Plains College and Texas Tech will host a tailgate before Tech’s football game against Oregon State University on Sept. 13. The tailgate will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion on the Tech campus and will remain open throughout the game.
SPC and Tech alumni are invited to celebrate the Dual Alumni Membership Program between the two institutions and get ready for the game with Terrible Tex. All current program members and those who enroll at the door will receive admission into the Pavilion for pregame festivities and a free drink ticket.
“The Dual Alumni Tailgate has become an annual event that serves as a unique opportunity to celebrate individuals who attended both SPC and Texas Tech,” Samantha Goldie, director of SPC Development and Alumni Relations, said. “Those dual alumni get a lot of perks when they sign up to be a member of the Dual Alumni Association and receive offers not available to those who didn’t also attend SPC.”
To become a Dual Alumni Member before the tailgate, visit http://bit.ly/dual-alumni. Graduation from either SPC or Tech is not required for membership. For more information about the tailgate, contact the SPC Development Office at 806-716-2019 or sgoldie@southplainscollege.edu.
