SPC’s Monte Carlo Evening to raise scholarship funds on March 6
Experience an unforgettable night of high stakes and higher purpose at South Plains College’s Monte Carlo Evening. Hosted by Hockley County Credit Union, this fundraising event will bring the community together to support SPC students from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 6 at the Mallet Event Center in Levelland.

With every spin of the roulette wheel and turn of a card, attendees can win playing chips redeemable for raffle prizes, directly supporting SPC students by easing financial burdens. Guests can try their luck at classic casino games, test their aim at the wine and whiskey ring toss or take a chance in the money-grab machine.
New and established patrons can enjoy live music, drinks and a delicious buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres in a casino atmosphere and participate in a live auction that will feature prizes including the naming of SPC’s street sign. Brandi Driggers, host of KLBK’s Trends and Friends, will serve as the mistress of ceremonies during the event’s Monte Carlo moments.
“This event is for anyone who likes to support South Plains College and have fun doing it,” Samantha Goldie, director of SPC Development and Alumni Relations, said. “In addition to live music and prize games, we are going to have celebrity impersonators, caviar tasting and a human slot machine. Even if table games aren’t for you, you will be entertained.”
