SPC to host Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies on May 8
South Plains College will host its Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies on May 8 in the Texan Dome on the Levelland campus. The first ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the second will begin at 1 p.m.
This semester, 1,166 students applied for graduation. Over 120 of these students are dual credit early high school graduates.
At the Dome, 333 students will participate in the first ceremony, and 344 will walk in the second.
SPC will recognize the 2026 recipient of the Faculty Excellence Award, who will carry the banner as faculty enters the dome. The student banner bearers include Jonah Campa-Peters of Brownfield and Katelynn Townsend of Sundown, representing Arts and Sciences; Colby Nelson of Lubbock and Zackery T. Jones of Dalhart, representing Health Sciences; and Elizabeth G. Corley of Levelland and Elizabeth Rodriguez of Lubbock, representing Technical Education.
