Warren CAT, Caterpillar donate $10,000 to SPC diesel program
LEVELLAND – As part of a continued partnership, Warren CAT gave $5,000 to South Plains College to support its diesel service technology program. The college will apply to have this donation matched by Caterpillar through the 2025 Dealer Excellence Fund, for a total of $10,000.
“We are grateful for Warren CAT’s generous donation,” Marie Flores, SPC diesel service technology instructor, said. “Their support reminds us that our actions can contribute to the greater good.”
Caterpillar’s Dealer Excellence Fund is a matching gift program created in partnership between the Caterpillar Foundation, participating Caterpillar dealers and technical secondary and post-secondary schools.
“Warren CAT is excited for what South Plains College is doing in its diesel program. Over the years, the college has trained some great students for our industry, and we love to hire them,” Johnny Faughn, training and recruiting specialist at Warren CAT, said. “Our hope is this donation will further the program and continue to support students.”
