PROFESSIONAL DRIVER TRAINING  -  CVOP 1013 and CVOP 1040


Truck Driving Course Description: An introduction into the regulations governing the trucking industry and the qualifications for entry into the field. The purpose of this course is to certify and permit the students. During this course the students will be trained for their Class A Licensing, as well as familiarizing themselves with the Department of Transportation rules and regulations. Students receive preparation for written examination, general truck driving skills with hands-on component, and instruction coordinated with the Department of Transportation. Students must be 18 years of age, have GED or high school diploma and must possess a valid Class C Texas Drivers Licenses. This is a 200 hour program with 20 CEUs that includes classroom, range, and open road driving. New classes begin every two weeks.
