Reese Vocational Nursing Program

TEAS, the most recent version of the test used for entrance purposes to the Plainview VN program, is a multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage. The four sections are timed for a total of 209 minutes and composed of 170 questions.  These questions are four-option, multiple choice questions. Computerized test results are available immediately upon completion of the exam.  The table below provides the number of questions and time limits for each section of the TEAS.
 
The test is divided in the following manner:

1. There will be NO EXEMPTIONS allowed for testing purposes.
2. Students may test up to 4 times and the best scores are accepted.
3. Students are encouraged to test EARLY in order to avoid complications
4. TEAS scores are good for 1 year
5. Take the test on the campus you plan on attending
6. Minimum scores can be discussed prior to testing
 

Candidates may register in person on the Reese Center, Building 8, Room 805. The candidate must have the SPC Student ID, picture ID (i.e. driver’s license) and form of payment (cash, credit card or money order) OR the candidate may register online to pay by credit/debit card. Cost of the exam is $75 and payment is required at the time of registration. The test fee is non-refundable.
