BK. Relationship between South Plains College and the South Plains College Foundation

On May 10, 1979, the College Board adopted the Articles of Incorporation establishing the South Plains College Foundation, Inc. The Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, is organized for the purpose of promoting the interest of education at South Plains College, assisting and extending financial support to the College, seeking and securing funds for the College and its educational programs and services, and providing scholarships, grants-in-aid and loans to benefit students. The Foundation shall be governed by a Board of Directors pursuant to its approved Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. The relationship between the College and the Foundation shall be set forth in a written agreement adopted by the respective governing boards.
